can’t find my way home

Where is home for you?

For storyteller and musician Sophia Wolbrom, it’s a question that sends her spiraling. The answer is not as simple as four walls and a roof, and the search for how to best respond to the question has inspired her debut solo show, Can't Find My Way Home, which premiered at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Originally from New York, Sophia’s journey has been anything but linear. She spent her summers in the backwoods of Maine, studied in Washington, D.C., and after graduation found herself moving from Edinburgh, Scotland, to Toronto, Canada, before finally returning to New York City. With so many places shaping her, that simple question “So, where’s home for you?” has become increasingly difficult to answer.

In Can’t Find My Way Home, directed by Kevin Qian (CRISPR The Musical) and described by The List as “intimate & charming”, Sophia invites audiences on a heartfelt journey through stories, songs, and reflections that explore the universal search for belonging.

Audiences rave:

“Sophia is a born performer and beautiful storyteller. And damn can she SING!”

“Action-packed, full of self-discovery, and a masterful delivery kept me hooked.”

“A must-see.”

With her powerful voice, sharp wit, and fearless honesty, Sophia Wolbrom delivers a performance that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. Blending original music, familiar songs, and vulnerable storytelling, Can’t Find My Way Home encourages audiences to reflect on what it truly means to belong.
