Huron Club

SoHo Playhouse’s Huron Club is a plush lounge and theater downstairs from the Main Stage featuring diverse acts next to a full-service cocktail bar.

This 55-seat cabaret garnered an infamous reputation at the turn of the 20th Century for hosting a secret downtown speakeasy for Tammany Hall, New York City’s notorious political machine. In fact, the Huron Club coined the term “one-stop shopping” as a reference to the mix of politics, vice, and social destinations found under one roof.

Today the charming underground theater is the perfect place to socialize before, during, and after a show at SoHo Playhouse for an immersive iconic NYC experience and craft cocktails.
