and her Children is an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and her Children that reimagines Anna Fierling as a spokeswoman for the NRA. Inspired by Dana Loesch’s infamous appearance at a Town Hall following the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and her Children investigates America’s gun violence epidemic through the lens of those who are paid to defend the right to bear arms. Time holds still as our contemporary Anna Fierling, a spokeswoman for the NRA, is plummeted into a liminal space where the audience is a stand-in for her own troubled conscience. In this imagined space, she grapples with two gnawing questions: Has she been selfish? And will she keep her job?

“…the execution is on a level that left the audience in a stunned state as if something percussive had hit them.”- The Hollywood Reporter

“…it will make your skin crawl.”- Larchmont Buzz

“This is the kind of art that leaves you uncomfortable and lingers long after you’ve left the theater.”- Mike Check
