BOX OFFICE HOURS

Our box office window is currently open Wednesday – Saturday, 3:00pm - Curtain.
  • You will receive an email confirmation from SoHo Playhouse immediately after purchasing tickets including your seating location(s), if the production has assigned seating. Physical tickets will only be printed at the box office if the production has assigned seating, and will be available for pickup beginning 1 hour prior to the performance you are attending. We are mostly a paperless venue and all you’ll need to do is give your name at the box office upon arrival!

  • At this time, all guests are strongly encouraged, but not required to wear a mask in the theatre to protect themselves and others. Vaccinations are not currently required. These protocols are subject to change.

  • When a performance is sold out, we start taking names for “standby” tickets 30 mins before each performance in person, at the theatre box office only. If someone with seats for the performance doesn’t show up by show time, a Standby Ticket holder takes their place in the theatre. You must pay for your ticket upon notification that a seat is available.

    Each member of your party must be present (or near the lobby) when your name is announced, or the box office will immediately move the next patron on the list.

  • All sales are final and non-refundable, unless you purchase Refund Protection when initially ordering your tickets. Ticket exchanges or refunds may be requested up to 24 hours prior to your originally scheduled performance. Any exchange or refund requests received after this deadline are not eligible under the terms of this policy. All exchanges are subject to availability, as well as a $10 exchange fee per order.

    TICKET EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED WHEN THE ORIGINAL TICKETS ARE PURCHASED THROUGH OUR AUTHORIZED PRIMARY SALES CHANNELS: SOHOPLAYHOUSE.COM, OR OUR BOX OFFICE. If tickets were not purchased through one of these sales channels, guests will need to contact their point of purchase to inquire about the exchange and/or refund policies of their point of purchase. 

    For approved exchanges, the tickets may be exchanged solely for different performances of the same production for which the tickets were originally purchased, subject to availability, blackout dates and promo restrictions. The amount of money paid on the original ticket will be applied to the exchanged ticket.

  • Please note, Soho Playhouse is not wheelchair accessible. Our home dates back to the 1800s, and we are working to make the proper renovations.

  • Photography and recording devices are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be turned off during the performance.

  • Late seating is done at the discretion of House Management. If you arrive late, we will seat you at the earliest opportunity. Please keep in mind, however, that we must wait until an appropriate moment in the show to seat latecomers to avoid disrupting the performance. To minimize disruption during late seating, you may be directed to take a seat other than your ticketed location. Guests who are late or exit the theatres during a production will not be entitled to an exchange or refund.

  • Although animals are not permitted in the theatre, an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform the Soho Playhouse box office if any accommodations are required.
