Rental Spaces
Our beautiful spaces are available for productions, workshops, and concerts all year long.

Theater: 178 seat proscenium theatre on the main floor. Stage measures 23.5 feet wide, by 20 feet deep. Height from deck to grid is 9’2” feet.
Dressing Rooms: Two good sized dressing rooms both with private bathrooms. One dressing room includes a shower.
Laundry: The theatre is equipped with washer/dryer.

Equipment: Both facilities come fully equipped with Light, Sound and Projection equipment. For inventories please refer to the Technical Rider.
General Maintenance: A standard garbage removal included with rentals. Note this does not apply to set or prop removal and or carting.
Electricity: Use is included in all rentals.

Box Office: Presently equipped with AudienceView / OvationTix ticketing system. Online tickets available 24/7 on our website including rental shows.
House Management: SoHo Playhouse provides a trained House Manager for each performance.
Bar Staff: The bar and lounge are open and staffed by SoHo Playhouse for all performances.

Main Stage
SoHo Playhouse’s Main Stage is a beautiful, artistic, and storied space that is used for productions, readings, workshops, rehearsals, events, concerts, and meetings. SoHo Playhouse is a split receiving house and producing house meaning that half of our productions are rentals.
Rental costs are determined by the needs of the rental and estimates can be provided once availability is confirmed.
Email requests with the dates and space in which you are interested. Please be sure to include a detailed description of the project, any technical needs, expected number of participants, and any other pertinent information.
The SoHo Playhouse is a Landmark theatre that has hosted some of New York's best. We can meet your needs and our friendly staff will accommodate any type of special requests.

Theater: 55 seat cabaret/bar downstairs. Stage measures 17 feet wide by 6 feet deep. Height is 8 feet. Has a separate entrance from Vandam Street.
Dressing Rooms: One dressing room dedicated to the Huron Club. No bathroom or shower.
Laundry: The theatre is equipped with washer/dryer.

SoHo Playhouse’s Huron Club is a cabaret and full-service bar located beneath the theater. This space is perfect for pre-show parties, dinners or as the perfect underground hot-spot. We can meet your needs and our friendly staff will accommodate any type of special requests.

Classroom
SoHo Playhouse’s Classroom features a flexible and modular space for our education programming, rehearsals, and workshops. Our open space upstairs from the Main Stage is perfect for small group events. We can meet your needs and our friendly staff will accommodate any type of special requests.
