At SoHo Playhouse Jr., campers explore the magic of theatre through play, collaboration, and performance. Our programs are designed to be engaging, supportive, and inspiring, helping children build confidence, express themselves, and fall in love with the stage.

Who is the camp for?
Kids ages 6-12 who are curious, creative, and ready to jump in.
Do kids need prior acting experience?
Nope, no experience necessary! Just bring an excited attitude and we will take care of the rest.
What is SoHo Playhouse Jr.?
A summer theatre program where kids play, create, and perform, ending with a live show on the SoHo Playhouse stage.
What will my child do each day?
Acting games
Improv and storytelling
Movement and stage presence
Building a show together
In short, they will be having a blast learning without realizing they are learning!
What is the final performance?
A short, original show for family and friends on a real Off-Broadway stage.
How big are the groups?
Small and focused, max 15 campers, so everyone gets real stage time.
Who teaches the camp?
Professional actors, writers, and directors from the NYC theatre world who love working with kids.
Where is it?
At SoHo Playhouse in downtown Manhattan, a real working theater.
When are the sessions?
July 6–10 Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM
July 13–17 Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM
What should my child bring?
Comfortable clothes
