Our team is ready to answer all your ticketing and event questions and logistics.

SoHo Playhouse box office window is currently open daily Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between 3:00pm and show curtain.
We are here to help! You can email boxoffice@sohoplayhouse.com or leave a voicemail at (212) 691-1555 with any questions.

We are a paperless venue!
You will receive an email confirmation of your digital tickets from SoHo Playhouse immediately after purchasing. If the production has assigned seating, your seat location will be included.
When you arrive, all you need to do is provide your name at the box office.
Lost or missing tickets? Contact us or visit the Box Office before your performance to request a new ticket email. Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time ahead of the show and have a photo ID with you.
-
Can someone else pick up and get in with my will call tickets? Absolutely! Contact Audience Services to change the name on your will call tickets. You will need to provide a name, address, and phone number for the person picking up the tickets for verification at the Box Office.
-
When a performance is sold out, we start taking names for standby tickets one hour before each performance in person, at the theatre box office only.
If someone with seats for the performance doesn’t show up by show time, a standby ticketholder has the opportunity to take their place in the theater. You must pay for your ticket upon notification that a seat is available.
While you wait nearby, we will call you by phone to alert you if a ticket becomes available. If the call is not answered, we will proceed down the list to the next patron. Save our number so you don’t miss us: (212) 691-1555.

Late seating is done at the discretion of house management. If you arrive late, we will do our best to seat you at the earliest opportunity. However, late seating is never guaranteed.
Please keep in mind that we must wait until an appropriate moment in the show to seat latecomers to avoid disrupting the performance. To minimize disruption during late seating, you may be directed to take a seat other than your ticketed location.
In the case of sold-out shows, guests who are late may not be able to be seated. We offer tickets to our standby list if they seem to be going unused at the listed curtain time.
Guests who are late or exit the theater during a production will not be entitled to an exchange or refund. Thank you for helping us to preserve the wonderfully intimate setting that our theater provides.
-
All sales are final and non-refundable, unless you purchase refund protection when initially ordering your tickets.
Ticket exchanges or refunds may be requested up to 24 hours prior to your originally scheduled performance. Any exchange or refund requests received after this deadline are not eligible under the terms of this policy. All exchanges are subject to availability, as well as a $10 exchange fee per order.
Ticket exchanges and refunds will only be considered when the original tickets are purchased through our authorized sales channels: either our website or in-person at our box office.
If tickets were not purchased through one of these sales channels, guests will need to contact their point of purchase to inquire about the exchange and/or refund policies of their point of purchase.
For approved exchanges, the tickets may be exchanged solely for different performances of the same production for which the tickets were originally purchased, subject to availability, blackout dates and promo restrictions. The amount of money paid on the original ticket will be applied to the exchanged ticket.
-
Our policy is that the show must go on! Unless the MTA shuts down and public transit is out of operation, all shows will proceed as scheduled, regardless of weather. We will post announcements on our website about event cancellations and send email notification to ticketholders as soon as possible.
-
The only way to know your tickets are valid or authentic is to buy directly from the SoHo Playhouse (online via our website, or in person at the Box Office). We cannot verify tickets bought from a third-party.
-
SoHo Playhouse is committed to making its performances accessible to all who wish to enjoy live shows, especially for individuals with mobility, auditory, or visual impairments.
We regret that our venue is not currently wheelchair accessible and limited in mobility needs. Our building is landmarked in the Charlton-King-Vandam Historic District, dating back to the 1800s. We are collaborating with the city to make the proper renovations.
Our programs are digital only / paperless, which can allow all patrons to explore this content on their own device.
Patrons may bring their own auditory headsets if they wish to improve their experience.
Although animals are not permitted in the theater, an exception is made for service animals. Please inform the SoHo Playhouse Box Office if any accommodations are required. Service animals are defined by the ADA as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.
-
Photography and recording devices are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be turned off during the performance.
At this time, all guests are strongly encouraged, but not required to wear a mask in the theatre to protect themselves and others if they are positive for Covid. Vaccinations are not currently required. These protocols are subject to change.
-
Never let your wardrobe keep you from a concert! Your experience of the music is what's important, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
As you'll see, a lot of audiences wear a mix of business attire or casual attire. We do ask that you refrain from using strong fragrances, as they may be distracting to other patrons and the performers.
-
Articles lost or found will be held by the Box Office staff at SoHo Playhouse until the end of a performance. Afterward, please contact us at (212) 691-1555.
-
While rehearsals are not open to the general public, subscribers and donors are, at times, invited to rehearsals. Invitational rehearsals are one of our most sought-after membership benefits and are offered to our subscribers and members. Become a donor today!
